In TSD news, Scott and Karina took the win in SOP at the July Friday Nighter TSD Rally! Their score kicked the pants of many in the Masters and Unlimited classes!  Full results are posted at http://www.nwrally.com/2008results/July_2008/July_08_Results.htm

That moved Karina into 2nd Place in the SOP Navigator Championship. Fellow TS members Bill Walsh and Hans Adomeit took 4th in SOP in the July Friday Nighter.

Torquesteerers held autocross events #1 and #2 of the 2008 WWSCC Championship Series, sponsored by Jim's Detail Shop. The club kicked off a questionable WWSCC championship series by pouncing on two unexpectedly open dates.  BMP thought that NWR-SCCA Race was using three days, but it turns out that NWR-SCCA Race was actually at Pacific Raceways that weekend.  So, NWR-SCCA Drift took Friday, May 30 and Torquesteerers took Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1.  We're glad for the goof, because it gave approximately 100 drivers six runs on Saturday and five runs on Sunday, with plenty of double entries.  Overnight RVers and campers probably kept the attitude festive, but whatever happens in Bremerton stays in Bremerton, right?
